This Week’s Scheduled MODIS Activities Not Completed:

None

Upcoming MODIS Events:

Calibrations for November include bimonthly SRCA Full Spatial and biweekly SD/SDSM. An additional request has been made to repeat the full orbit SRCA Radiometric Continuous 10W and 1W collections that were performed on DOY 2003/029 and 2003/032. These have been scheduled to occur on DOY 2003/318 (see below).

Maneuvers:

The Aqua MODIS Lunar Calibration Roll for December is planned for DOY 2003/ 337 (December 3, 2003), at 18:40:00-18:46:30 GMT. The roll angle will be -2.2617 degrees.

Aqua performed a Drag Make-Up (DMU) Maneuver on DOY 2003/308 (Wednesday, November 5, 2003). The slew out time (and loss of pointing accuracy) was at 13:19 GMT. The burn occurred at 15:00 GMT and lasted for approximately 103 seconds. The slew return time was at 15:41 GMT, and point accuracy was regained at 15:56 GMT.

No official date has yet been scheduled for the Aqua Deep Space Calibration pitch maneuver(s).

MODIS Anomalies:

None

General Instrument Comments:

FM1 MODIS is in Science Mode. The SVD and NAD are Open, the survival heaters are enabled, and the Black Body is heated to 285 K.

MODIS Telemetry Trends:

The FM1 MODIS instrument telemetry is trending nominally.
