The yaw maneuvers use sector rotation (to -3400 counts). During this time, the formatter is set to DAY rate. In order to balance the MODIS data output, and equal amount of NIGHT rate data will be collected during what would normally be DAY rate.

The -11.6745 degree roll maneuver for the MODIS lunar calibration is scheduled for June 20th, 2002. The roll out slew will begin at 6:33:19 and reach the rolled position at 16:41:35. The return slew will begin at 16:49:05 and reach the nominal position at 16:57:21.
The next twelve yaw maneuvers for MODIS SD/SDSM calibrations are now scheduled for June 23rd and 24th with six maneuvers on each of those days.
Yaw maneuvers for CERES calibrations are planned for Wednesday, June 26th. Five yaw maneuvers are scheduled with angles alternating between -0.8 and 14 degrees.
The Deep Space Calibration pitch maneuver(s) is(are) currently scheduled for July 24th.
Ascent Plan:The final ascent burn started at 16:00:05 (five seconds late). The burn was successful and Aqua has now attained its desired operational orbit.

MODIS is currently in B-Side Science Mode (Power Supply 2, Control Processor B) with the Space View Door at its Open Position. The instrument has reached its nominal operating temperature.
No abnormal telemetry trends have been observed. The cold focal plane heater voltage is being monitored, but there is no definitive evidence of a decrease in temperature margin.
The cold focal plane heater started controlling at 83K (with the SMIR focal plane heater) on Sunday, June 9th at 18:26 GMT. The blackbody stabilized at 285K at approximately 18:40 GMT June 11th.
Ascent burn six was completed successfully; Aqua has now attained its desired operational orbit.
